JADE Secondary Level Gold Club (SLGC)

The illustrious JADE Secondary-level Gold Club is comprised of some of Jamaica’s finest high school debaters, selected based on their outstanding performance in local competitions. They benefit from intense year-round training and often ply their trade in world-class competitions, representing their island home. Being a member of this Club allows you to gain more consistent, advanced-level training and competition experience. Locally and overseas. Members also serve as ambassadors of JADE and the larger Jamaican debating community. Membership is accorded annually. Membership in this prestigious group will depend on the candidate remaining a high school student and still exhibiting substantial growth as a debater. The range of developmental opportunities is designed to promote the member's development as a critical thinker and effective communicator.
